F\u00fcr unser aktuelles Latest Pick-Up Interview<\/strong> haben wir uns mit Joey Michael Peijen<\/strong> unterhalten. Joey ist uns bereits vor einigen Monaten auf Instagram aufgefallen. Zum einen, weil er hochwertige Bilder und Content postet, zum anderen aber auch, weil er eine nette Sneakersammlung vorzuweisen hat.<\/p>\n

Joey lebt in der kleinen, niederl\u00e4ndischen Stadt Tilburg und arbeitet als Grafik-Designer f\u00fcr die Firma TLF. Diese wiederum arbeitet unter anderem f\u00fcr adidas Originals<\/strong> und designed Accessoires wie Handyh\u00fcllen, etc. Durch die N\u00e4he zu der Marke mit den drei Streifen, umfasst seine Sammlung vor allen Dingen adidas Modelle, insbesondere BOOST\u2122<\/strong> Modelle. Aber auch EQT\u00b4s und Yeezys befinden sich in seiner Sammlung. Lest selbst, was uns Joey zu sagen hat.<\/p>\n


\n<\/b>What\u00b4s your shoe size?<\/strong>
\n<\/b>US9 no liner or knitted kicks, US9,5 most ideal especially in UltraBOOST\u2122<\/strong> and a US10 in YZY V2.<\/p>\n


\n<\/b>What’s your latest purchase?
\n<\/strong>My latest pick-up is the so called „KNICKS“ CW of the adidas UltraBOOST\u2122<\/strong>. When the first sample was posted with the white heel cup I was like: yes, these are dope for a 3.0 UB (I don’t like all the 3.0 drops due to the pattern). But at the launch I started to doubt about copping them but still copped, flipped the laces and Iam mad happy about my decision- haha.<\/p>\n

What’s your „all-time“ classic Sneaker?<\/strong>
\nAlthough I almost only wear adidas nowadays,  I still respect all other brands so I have to go for the Nike AM1 x Atmos „Animal“. In my opinion one of the coolest AM1 releases ever. Crazy different types of animal patterned fur but not only because of this. This kick gave my collecting game a boost back in the days when I was able to buy four pair for just retail and flipped them with an \u20ac100,- profit max. I was able to cop<\/strong><\/a>, without earning a lot of money, more kicks which grabbed my attention. Just about two years ago I decided to do something with my pair of animals no one did before. Together with a custom artist we turned the kick into a Hybrid AM1 x Am90. Turned out really dope if I say it myself.<\/p>\n

Which pair of sneakers will you be buying next?<\/strong>
\nThe adidas Originals „RUN THRU TIME“ Mid<\/strong> UltraBOOST\u2122<\/strong>. The wait is finally over! I can’t miss this one. These are so dope in my opinion. Color, materials and the Mid model, everything is „on point“. When the first samples were shown online, I almost already bought a sample pair when I had the chance but luckily waited long enough cause this saved me a lot of money;-)<\/p>\n

What brand caught your attention lately?<\/strong>
\nAdidas without a doubt. Nothing can beat the UltraBOOST\u2122 <\/strong>material in terms of comfort plus I have the honor to work for a company which is an official partner, so I get to see all the insides and believe me, they have many more dope kicks coming!<\/p>\n


\n<\/b>How many Sneakers do you own?<\/strong>
\n<\/b>I never paid attention to the amount of kicks I had\/was buying, I just wanted to buy every dope kick I could buy when my bank account was letting me. But I have counted my kicks when we were moving to our new home and counted 82 pairs.<\/p>\n


\n<\/b>What style is a „no-go“ for you?<\/strong>
\n<\/b>Everybody can wear and rock their outfit the way they want.<\/p>\n
