Davy James Andrew ci ha colpito già mesi fa, perché mostrava continuamente sneaker Nike rare sul suo profilo Instagram @djamesandrew, che ci lasciavano a bocca aperta. Tra queste c'erano sneaker come le Nike Air Max 1 x Patta "Cherrywood", alcune Lunar Flyknit HTM, le Nike Air Max 90 "Homegrown" o altri rari modelli Nike. Per noi era chiaro che dovevamo chiedere anche a "djamesandrew" del suo "Latest Pick-Up". L'olandese di nascita vive nella piccola città di Boxtel e lì lavora come terapista del movimento. Nel tempo libero fa volentieri sport e colleziona sneaker. La sua passione per il collezionismo è iniziata nel 2005 con le Nike Dunk e le Air Jordan, prima di scoprire per sé le Nike Air Max 1. Le sue prime due sneaker Air Max sono state quindi direttamente due pezzi pregiati, cioè le Air Max 1 "Skulls" e le "Urawa Red Dragon". What's your latest purchase? My latest pick-up is the Nike Air Max 1 Jewel "Black Diamond". I like those pair a lot because of the transparent "big swoosh" outsole.

Your "All-Time" classic sneaker? Let me think. My all-time classic sneaker is the Nike Air Max 1 "BRS" Powerwall. This shoe, with his mixed colorway, is one of my top 5 sneakers for sure. I bought this shoe ten years ago and sold it three years later because I needed money for school. Two years later I regretted that I sold them. Luckily, I found another pair online and bought them again.

What brand caught your attention lately? Swoosh life, Swoosh only! Nike is the only brand I wear, except for the ASICS X WOEI collabs.

How many shoes do you own? The number of shoes is not important to me. The story behind the shoe and the color/material combination is what matters most.

What style is a "no-go" for you? Wearing two different brands at one time. For example, when you wear adidas pants with Nike sneakers.
