What does adidas Consortium mean?
The releases under the umbrella of adidas Consortium are characterised by their exclusivity and limited edition, their particularly high-quality workmanship and the renowned collabo partners from the sneaker and streetwear scene.
A new model is often initially released as a limited Consortium release. Later, other colourways follow in significantly higher quantities.
These drops are only available worldwide at a small selection of sneaker boutiques with a so-called Consortium account. In this country Overkill, Solebox and Wood Wood Annex to these shops.
Internationally, too our partner stores like Sneakersnstuff or Footshop have this status. The decision as to whether a shop has such an account lies with adidas. Many Consortium partners have already received their own collab. Well-known examples of this are the BVG x adidas EQT Support 93/Berlin and the „A-ZX“ series ZX8500 from Overkill and the then still Hikmet Sugoer designed Solebox x adidas UltraBoost Uncaged.
