Was bedeutet Colorway?

Colorway or CW (auf Deutsch: Farbkombination, Farbe, Farbgebung), bezeichnet die Farbkombination eines Sneakers.

Die Sneakerszene wird stark von der US-amerikanischen Kultur beeinflusst. Dementsprechend werden auch viele englischsprachige Begriffe wie selbstverständlich benutzt.

Gerade von den beliebten Silhouetten wie dem Air Max 1 or UltraBoost existieren inzwischen unzählige Farben. „Infrared“, „University Red“ and „Royal Blue“ sind die Namen einiger sehr bekannter OG Colorways von Nike-Modellen. Bei diesen handelt es sich um jene Farbdesigns, in denen ein bestimmtes Modell zum ersten Mal auf den Markt kam. Im Fall des Air Max 90 ist das zum Beispiel der „Infrared“.

Was bedeutet CW bei Schuhen?

CW ist die Abkürzung von Colorway und steht für die Farbgebung von Schuhen oder Sneaker.
